Wellpack is looking for a skilled CNC milling machinist for our client company in Lohja. The client is a long-established Finnish technology industry company manufacturing demanding products and assemblies for industrial applications. Its production is characterized by high quality, strong technical expertise, and the machining of a wide range of materials.

What is the work like?

As a CNC milling machinist, you will work independently on varied machining tasks. You will operate and program CNC milling machines and ensure that components are manufactured according to drawings and quality requirements.

To succeed in the role, you must have experience with at least one of the following CNC controls: Fanuc, Okuma, or Heidenhain.

GibbsCAM is used in production, so experience with GibbsCAM or a similar CAM system is an advantage. The materials being machined range from aluminium to titanium, offering technically interesting work for an experienced machinist.

The work is currently carried out in one shift from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of moving to a two-shift system. Longer working days and weekend work may also be available depending on production needs. The position will start as soon as possible, according to agreement.

We expect you to have

• Previous experience in CNC milling and programming

• Experience with Fanuc, Okuma, or Heidenhain controls

• Experience with GibbsCAM or a similar CAM system

• Good understanding of machining methods and tools

• A precise and quality-oriented approach to work

• A valid Occupational Safety Card

• Good Finnish or English language skills

The following are considered an advantage

• Experience in machining demanding materials

• Experience in machining titanium

• Versatile CNC machining and programming skills
